A Parameter Independent Stator Current Space-Vector Reference Frame-Based Sensorless IPMSM Drive Using Sliding Mode Control

In this paper, a sliding mode control is presented for direct torque and stator flux of interior permanent magnet synchronous motor in rotor speed sensorless drive system. The scheme developed specific rotating reference frame (X-Y) which the current space vector coincides with (X) axis. For technique no need to have any knowledge machine parameters such as two-axis inductances, magnets linkage, even initial position. However, on-line actual resistance value required estimate components stationary frame. strategy, two simple methods are described estimating resistance. Some simulation experimental results support validity effectiveness proposed scheme.
